Alhambra - inside the Carlos V Palace -- when the Christians overthrew the Moors in the 1500s, they had to build their own palace here as well.  It was meant to have a domed roof, but the King ended this endeavor to instead build his palace at El Escorial.

We used CouchSurfing to find a place to stay this night, at a wonderful farm house between Marbella and Estepona, just a half-mile inland from the sea. Here are some photos from our host's house. It was a great place!
